Why We Built Penvio eSign
We heard from our users that PDF editing and e-signatures go hand in hand. Many of you were using separate tools for editing documents and collecting signatures, creating unnecessary friction in your workflows.
With Penvio eSign, you can now edit a contract, add signature fields, and send it for signing - all without leaving the platform.

Templates
Create reusable templates for documents you send frequently. Place signature fields, dates, and text fields once, then use the template again and again.
Signing Workflows
Configure how documents flow through your signing process:
- Sequential signing - Each person signs in order
- Parallel signing - Everyone can sign at the same time
Mobile Signing
Your signers can complete documents from any device. Our mobile-optimized interface works great on phones and tablets, no app download required.
Audit Trail
Every Penvio eSign document includes a complete audit trail that records:
- When the document was sent
- When each signer viewed the document
- When signatures were applied
- IP addresses and timestamps
This audit trail is hash-chained for tamper-evidence, meeting ESIGN Act requirements for legally binding signatures.
ESIGN Act Compliance
Penvio eSign is built from the ground up for legal compliance. We follow the requirements of the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act), including:
- Clear consent before signing

Penvio eSign is available now on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans. Each plan includes a monthly allocation of e-signatures:
- Pro: 50 signatures/month
- Business: 200 signatures/month
- Enterprise: Unlimited signatures
