- Organization name (if applicable)
Document Data
When you upload and edit documents, we store the document content and metadata. This includes:
- PDF files you upload
- Edits and annotations you make
- E-signature data
- Document metadata (creation date, file size, etc.)
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you use our service:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and features used
- Time and date of access
- Error logs for troubleshooting

Your documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. All data is transmitted over TLS 1.3. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Enterprise customers can choose to store documents in their own cloud storage (BYOB) for additional control over data residency.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a document, it is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days.
If you close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Third parties that help us operate our service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery)
- E-signature recipients: When you send a document for signature, we share your name and email with the recipients
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
